Technical Sales Engineer (food sector – cleaning solutions)

Since last year the company is actively developing the sales and distribution of its cleaning and sanitation solutions to the food processing and agro industries in Poland. To further gain market share (by direct sales), providing excellent service to Polish diary, beverage and food processing accounts, and to support the coordination of key accounts across Europe we are currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer – Cleaning Solutions.
Stanowisko
Drive sales and provide technical support for the company’s cleaning solutions and services.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the food (and agro) industry.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate cleaning solutions, including chemicals, equipment, and hygiene and sanitation concepts.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve or exceed sales targets. Manage STOCKMEIER products and equipment; participate in equipment installations; observe and test equipment and product performance; repair or adjust equipment; adjust chemical concentration levels; monitor product inventory; and place orders.
- Provide training and support for clients on product usage and best practices for cleaning and hygiene. Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and new technologies related to food cleaning and sanitation.
- Work closely with the local cleaning solutions sales team and with the Key Account Manager Europe (coordination of cooperation with key clients across Europe). Share feedback from clients, also with the marketing and product development and contribute to product innovation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and customer feedback in the CRM system.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess competition.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and gather market intelligence.
- You cooperate with and report (in matrix) to the Key Account Manager Cleaning Solutions in Germany and to the Country Manager Poland.
Profil
A food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing / plant sanitation expert with excellent relation building skills.
Job requirements
- Higher degree (e.g. food processing, microbiology or chemistry).
- Minimum 1-2 years of technical sales experience in the food processing industry, or as a quality manager or plant manager in the food sector. Chemical know-how is definitely an asset.
- Deep understanding of cleaning and sanitation processes in food production.
- Fluent Polish and English. German is an asset.
- Valid driving license and prepared for frequent travelling in Poland (and from time to time international).

- Strong interpersonal, communicative, presentation and problem-solving skills, driven by customer satisfaction.
- Able to open doors and to actively build relations and to sell value-added products.
- Confident in dealing with large national and multi-national customers in the food sector.
- Team player, naturally ready to share knowledge, and enjoying having contacts with people on all levels.
- Goal oriented, able to work independently, proactively and in a self-directed flexible manner.
